While the prop is referred to as a 1076 in the scene, it appears to be a S&W Model 4506 given the barrel length and the slide mounted decocking/safety lever. It is possible that the prop is a 1006 (same size and shape as the 4506) but given that other 10mm props were rechambered to .45 blanks (the Bren Ten used in ''[[Miami Vice]]''), this seems less likely.

Twin Peaks (1990-1991)

The following firearms were used in the series Twin Peaks:

Smith & Wesson Model 629 Snub

For the majority of Season 1, FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle Maclachlan) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 629 Snub as his sidearm. He is seen drawing it in Season 1's "Cooper's Dreams" (S1E06).

Smith & Wesson 1076

In Season 2's "On the Wings of Love" (S2E18), Cooper is given what is identified as a Smith & Wesson 1076 by FBI Supervisory Special Agent Gordon Cole (played by film director and series creator David Lynch). Cole describes it as the Bureau's new 10mm sidearm. (The FBI used the new sidearms in the early 90's before it encountered field problems and was replaced,) While the prop is referred to as a 1076 in the scene, it appears to be a S&W Model 4506 given the barrel length and the slide mounted decocking/safety lever. It is possible that the prop is a 1006 (same size and shape as the 4506) but given that other 10mm props were rechambered to .45 blanks (the Bren Ten used in Miami Vice), this seems less likely.
