Training Day is the 2017 television continuation of the 2001 crime film that starred Denzel Washington. Set fifteen years after the original film, the television series stars Justin Cornwall as Kyle, a young detective who is asked to infiltrate the ranks of the LAPD's secretive unit known as SIS, or the Special Investigation Section, which is headed up by Frank Roarke (Bill Paxton), a rogue detective with unorthodox methods of combating crime. Training Day premiered in the US on CBS in February of 2017 and aired for 13 episodes (which were all completed before actor Bill Paxton's untimely death in the same month) and was executive produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and the original film's director Antoine Fuqua.

A P23 biker uses it in "Faultines". Thurman Ballesteros (Lou Diamond Phillips) and one of his men use them in "Sunset".

The Glock 17 is used by officers in the LAPD. Jeff Kulen (Brian Van Holt) uses it in "Wages of Sin" after he breaks out of jail.

A Glock 26 is used by Kyle as his backup sidearm while in the SIS.
IMI Desert Eagle
A gold IMI Desert Eagle is used by Rios (Roel Navarro) before Frank shoots him in "Apocalyse Now". A nickel version is used by Frank (Bill Paxton) as another sidearm of choice, which was taken from him unfortunately in "Tehrangeles".
