Time-Is-Not-Waiting (a direct translation of the original title Vremya-ne-zhdyot) is a Soviet 1975 made for TV two-part adventure drama film directed by Vitaliy Chetverikov and based on Jack London's 1910 novel "Burning Daylight" (the title is the nickname of the main character that is adapted in Russian translation as "Time-Is-Not-Waiting"). Elam Harnish (Juozas Budraitis), a gold prospector during the Alaskan Gold Rush, overcomes hardships and dangers and achieves great wealth. Upon returning to civilization, he turns into a ruthless financier until he fall in love to a humble stenographer Dede Mason (Olga Barnet).

The following weapons were used in the film Time-Is-Not-Waiting (Vremya-ne-zhdyot):

Handguns

Smith & Wesson No. 3 Russian Model

Numerous gold prospectors on Alaska, including Elam Harnish (Juozas Budraitis), Louis (Mikhail Matveev), Jack Westendale (Emmanuil Vitorgan), Lon (Feliksas Einas), Battles (Vladimir Volchik), carry Smith & Wesson No. 3 Russian Model revolvers.

Unidentified pistol

A semi auto pistol, looking anachronistic for 1898, is seen in hands of Madonna (Vaiva Mainelyte). It is seen only partially and may be a Mauser M1934 but this is a vague guess.

A pistol is seen near Madonna's dead hand. Note the shape of the grip and the rear part of the frame that look similar to Mauser 1934.

Rifles

Winchester Model 1894 Carbine

Winchester Model 1894 carbines are seen in hands of Elam Harnish (Juozas Budraitis) and Jack Westendale (Emmanuil Vitorgan). Probably a single gun is reused in this scenes. The carbine is not a saddle ring version, it has sling swivels.

Harnish's Winchester hangs on the wall at the right. The shape and length of the receiver allow to identify the gun as Model 1894 rather than Model 1892 that has similar but shorter receiver.

Winchester Model 1895

Winchester Model 1895 rifles are used by gold prospectors.

Winchester Model 1895 (visually modified)

A Winchester Model 1895 rifle is visually modified by removing the front section of the handguard and adding a fake underbarrel tube magazine so the gun resembles Winchester Model 1892 or Model 1894. Similar props are seen in a number of Mosfilm productions but the usage in Belarusfilm productions seems unique.
