The Spy is an English-language French miniseries created by Gideon Raff and originally aired in 2019 on the premium channel OCS and distributed internationally by Netflix. It is based on the true story of Eli Cohen (portrayed by Sacha Baron Cohen), an unassuming Israeli citizen recruited by Mossad to take part in a perilous deep-cover espionage mission in Syria in the years leading up to the 1967 Six-Day War.

The following weapons were used in the television series The Spy:

Pistols

Makarov PM

The Makarov PM is used by Lieutenant Ma'azi Zaher Ad-Din (Nassim Si Ahmed) as his personal sidearm.

Zastava M70AB2

The Zastava M70AB2 is seen with pro-government demonstrators in Damascus in "The Odd Couples". A Syrian soldier uses it in "Home". The M70 series of rifles was first produced in 1970, making these rifles slightly anachronistic for the 1960s setting of the miniseries. They could be standing in for more period-correct AK rifles like the AKS-47 and AKMS.
