The Seventh Company Has Been Found (On a retrouvé la 7ème compagnie!)
The Seventh Company Has Been Found (On a retrouve la 7eme compagnie!) is a 1975 French war comedy directed by Robert Lamoureux. The movie follows the events of Now Where Did the 7th Company Get To? (Mais où est donc passée la 7ème compagnie?) (1973).
After successful escape from Germans, Chaudard, Pitivier and Tassin dress in uniforms of French officers abandoned by their holders during the debacle. When the trio is at last captured, they are taken to a castle where French high rank officers are hold. Here the main characters continue their attempts to escape.
In this movie Aldo Maccione was replaced by Henri Guybet in the role of Tassin, so some scenes, depicting the events of the first film, were shot again.
In the beginning of the movie, Chaudard, Pitivier and Tassin continue to ride the M3 Halftrack, equipped with a 3.7 cm Pak 35/36 cannon. Unlike the gun, seen in the first movie, this one has a standard barrel.
2 Inch M3 Smoke Mortar
M24 Chaffee tanks, standing for German Panzer III, are equpped with 2 Inch M3 smoke mortar, mounted at the left of the main gun. This weapon is identical with the British Bomb Thrower, 2 inch, Mk I smoke mortar.
Anti-aircraft cannon
An anti-aircraft cannon of unidentified model is seen mounted on a railway flatcar.
