The Punisher (1989)The Punisher Lethal Weapon Terminator 2 Dolph Lundgren as the vigilante Frank Castle. The Punisher would subsequently be re-adapted three more times: as feature films in 2004's The Punisher Thomas Jane and 2008's Punisher: War Zone Ray Stevenson , and then in the Daredevil Netflix series , which featured Jon Bernthal as the character, which is now part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe . Despite the American setting, the production was entirely filmed in Sydney, Australia.
