The Olsen Gang Goes to War is a 1978 Danish crime comedy and the tenth movie about the Olsen Gang. As it is the Danish queen's birthday, Egon Olsen is granted early release from prison. This does not go down well with him, however, as it means he can no longer talk to a certain fellow inmate and cannot complete his plan. For lack of alternatives, the Olsen gang decides to put one of Benny's plans into action. However, Egon only uses this as an excuse to get himself arrested again and sent back to prison. When he gets out of prison again, he has learned the necessary details and plans to break into the Danish Imperial Registry to steal a microfilm on which a plan to transform the whole of Denmark into a huge theme park has been recorded.
