Despite the fact that the film's events are supposed to take place in 1863 during the Civil War, several characters are seen using the Cavalry model of the Single Action Army revolver is used by several characters including James Kincaid (James Cagney), aka "The Oklahoma Kid", as well as by Whip McCord (Humphrey Bogart).
