The Heist of the Century (El Robo Del Siglo) is a 2020 Argentine film, directed by Ariel Winograd and belonging to the genre police thriller and comedy. It is based on the true story of the robbery of the Banco Río branch in the Buenos Aires town of Acassuso on January 13, 2006, which was assaulted by a gang of six thieves armed with toy weapons. They took 23 hostages and took $15 million from 147 safes, which they later abandoned after their getaway.

Browning Hi-Power
Mario Vitette Sellanes (Guillermo Francella), the thief in a gray suit, uses a Browning Hi-Power. In the real life incident, the robbers used fake guns, a fact that stayed in the movie. When the robbers escaped, they left their guns at the scene in the event they were caught, hoping the penalties would be less harsh.
Beretta 92FS
Fernando Araujo (Diego Peretti) uses a toy Beretta 92FS during the robbery and when taking a human shield.

When the first police officers approach the bank, one of them points а Beretta 92S Araujo as he stands at the entrance.

The snipers of the Skyhawk Group use the Remington 700PSS to keep watch on the bank situation.
