The Game is a 1997 thriller directed by David Fincher and stars Michael Douglas as a wealthy businessman who on his 48th birthday is enticed by his brother to participate in a very unique game.

Nicholas confronts a private investigator and taking his Smith & Wesson Model 15. He fires the revolver, believing it was only loaded with blanks. When he suspects a break-in, Nicholas takes the revolver from his glove compartment and holds it when he enters his home.
