The Fable Junichi Okada as Akira "The Fable" Sato, an infamous hitman within the Japanese underworld who is forced to live a completely normal civilian life without killing anybody for an entire year. A sequel, The Fable: The Killer Who Doesn't Kill , was released in 2021.

Pistols Nighthawk Custom M1911 Akira Sato aka “Fable” (Junichi Okada ) uses a customized M1911 Nighthawk Custom -made pistol. According to this blog post , it was made for the film by using a Tanio Koba GM-7, but it can be be done with a Tokyo Marui MEU pistol. Changes include the use of 1911 Diamondback grips, a 4 inch chrome slide, adding Nighthawk Custom engravings and new front/rear sight and a DCI suppressor barrel adaptor.
