The Cassandra Crossing is a action thriller in 1976 directed by George P. Cosmatos. Passengers in the international express are threatened of deadly and highly contagious virus that basically accidentally spread among the passengers two radical animal rights campaigners, this time on the run from the building of the UN Research Centre. Risk of global epidemic and it is necessary to intervene. The train is hermetically closed and passengers will be left to its fate. The train is directed to the railway bridge Cassandra in Poland, which is known that the train can not bear. Fighting for the lives of passengers is taking off on both fronts - epidemiological and political.
