M1911

When Hank Scott (Richard Denning) and Artur Ramos (Carlos Rivas) find the dead policeman, Sergeant Vega, Vega is still clutching a nickel M1911 pistol. Later dialog calls the clearly automatic handgun "Vega's revolver."

Mendoza M1934 LMG

During the giant scorpions' attack on San Lorenzo, Major Cosio (Arturo Martínez) fires a Mendoza M1934 at one of the creatures. Later when he and Scott descend into the scorpions' underground lair, Ramos carries and uses the rifle.

Harpoon Gun

In the film's climax, a harpoon gun is retrofitted to fire a large projectile attached via cable to an electrical generator. It is manned by the Mexican Army's Major Ortega, until he forgets it's electrified and grabs the projectile with his bare hands.
