Guns used in the film The Black Scorpion.
M1911
When Hank Scott (Richard Denning) and Artur Ramos (Carlos Rivas) find the dead policeman, Sergeant Vega, Vega is still clutching an M1911 pistol. Amusingly, later dialog calls the clearly automatic handgun "Vega's revolver."
Smith & Wesson Model 10
Both Scott and Ramos carry Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolvers. Ramos' has an engraved pearl handle.
Harpoon Gun
In the film's climax, a harpoon gun is retrofitted to fire a large projectile attached via cable to an electrical generator. It is manned by the Mexican Army's Major Ortega, until he forgets it's electrified and grabs the projectile with his bare hands. One thoroughly fried Mexican major later and it's up to Scott to slay the giant scorpion.
