The abovementioned thug's stainless steel pistol switches to a compact M1911-style model. [[Colt Commander]] is a possible guess.
The Annihilators is a 1985 action movie directed by Charles E. Sellier Jr. (Silent Night, Deadly Night). A disabled Vietnam war veteran, now living in Atlanta, is brutally murdered by a gang of racketeers, known as "The Rollers". Four of his comrades-in-arms gather to avenge his death and help his family and neighbours against the gang.
The following weapons were used in the film The Annihilators:
Roy Boy Jagger (Paul Koslo), the leader of The Rollers, uses a nickel plated Smith & Wesson Model 19 in several scenes. The blued trigger, hammer, and rear sights allow to differ it from stainless steel Smith & Wesson Model 66.
Atlanta PD Lt. Hawkins (Jim Antonio) carries a compact revolver in holster. The shape of the grip allows to identify it as Smith & Wesson Model 36.
Colt Trooper Mk III
During the final shootout Jesse (Bruce Evers), Roy Boy's enforcer, uses a Colt Trooper Mk III with 6" barrel. A Trooper is also seen in hands of another thug.
Colt Python
What appears to be a snub nose Colt Python is also used by Jesse (Bruce Evers) in another shootout.
Unidentified revolvers
Pistols
M1911A1
M1911A1 pistols are used by all four friends during their war against the gang. Due to continuity errors, Garrett's (Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs) and Woody's (Andy Wood) pistols several times switches betweeen M1911 and Tanfoglio TZ-75.
One of The Rollers' stainless steel pistol (see below) switches to a compact M1911-style model, most likely a Colt Officer's ACP.
Unidentified pistols
The abovementioned thug holds a stainless steel compact pistol in the climactic scene. Colt Government Model 380 is a possible guess though it's hard to say for sure.
Unidenfitied pistols are seen in holsters of Atlanta PD officers.
What appears to be a Ruger Mini-14 with stainless steel finish is seen in hands of a thug during the climactic shootout.
M14
An M14 rifle is seen in hands of a US Army soldier in documentary footage.
M1 Carbine
M1 Carbines are seen in hands of ARVN soldiers in documentary footage.
Type 56 Carbine
One of the Vietcong fighters is armed with a Type 56 Carbine. This Chinese version of SKS can be identified due to its "pig sticker" bayonet.
Mauser Sporter
One of the Vietcong fighters is armed with a bolt action hunting rifle, possibly some kind of Mauser Sporter.
Unidentified rifle
During the final shootout one of The Rollers carries an unidentified rifle. The gun is seen very briefly and unclear.
Assault Rifles
M16
During the Vietnam sequence Pvt. Garrett Floyd (Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs) carries an original M16 Rifle with 3-prong flash hider.
M16/SP1
During the Vietnam sequence Pvts. Ray Track (Gerrit Graham) and Joe Nace (Dennis Redfield) carry M16/SP1 rifles. An M16 of possibly same version is briefly seen in hands of a thug during the final shootout (it is replaced with a rubber prop when fall down from rooftop, see below).
M16 Rubber Prop
A rubber prop is used when a thug on the rooftop, being shot, drops his M16.
