The custom built Saiga outclassed the rest of this rather mediocre flick. I watch the film to see the gun! Well, we do that anyway around here. -J3

First of all, its not a tv series, its a movie about a tv series starring Eddie Murphy and Robert DeNiro. And second, whoever made this page is one lazy SOB

  • its me or Mitch uses a m1911 variant (maybe springfield armory)

Wow, the page looks so much better now, thank you to whoever fixed it.

Are you sure Eddie's gun isn't a Beretta 92FS Inox?

I thought it was Inox, but his gun has a rounded trigger guard. --Ben41 21:41, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

By the way, the gun is nicknamed "viera" in the movie, I don't know where you got "white whale".

The gun expert called the gun that, because it's a mythical gun. --Ben41 21:41, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Actor identification requested

Does anybody know the name of below actor? It’s been bugging me for a few days now and I could not find him on the IMDB page for this movie. His face looks so familiar to me from supporting roles in several action and or scifi movies…

Thanks for your help, PeeWee055 (talk) 05:29, 18 October 2013 (EDT)

Is that Harry Dean Stanton? This film is not on his IMDB page though. --Funkychinaman (talk) 09:17, 18 October 2013 (EDT)
Bingo! That's who I was thinking about. Thanks again FunkyChinaman! There is nothing so frustrating as seeing an actor and recognizing him as 'that guy from that cool movie'. Now that I know the name, I compared this image to several shots of him around 2002 and it's probably a look-alike. Harry Dean Stanton looked much more weather-beaten around that time. Come to speak of it, reason that the face of Harry Dean Stanton is so etched on my mind is that he was in the first 'scary' movie that I saw as a kid, Alien. Seeing the kitchen table scene as a youngster is something you don't forget lightly hahaha, PeeWee055 (talk) 10:15, 18 October 2013 (EDT)
That's NOT' Harry. This actor is younger and Harry always had short dark hair. --Ben41 (talk) 13:42, 18 October 2013 (EDT)
Well it does LOOK like Harry. --Funkychinaman (talk) 13:56, 18 October 2013 (EDT)
