I am not good at all with names. Be gentle BeardedHoplite 01:55, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Prop gun

It looks like underneath all that prop is some kind of AR-15 Excalibur01 02:18, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Hmmm... my brother thinks it an Remington ACR. I think it looks like an insane prop Browing M1919 BeardedHoplite 02:22, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Definitely an AR-15.-protoAuthor 03:04, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
Yes, AR-15. Spartan198 12:25, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

That is not a WALTHER P99!...come on! that is totally a Walther NightHawk on the table with all the toy junk on it.Spades of Columbia

Does this sight allow BB gun on the main page?

Definitely a BB gun. Here is a link to a "weapon" exactly the same as the one pictured. --Charon68 00:53, 15 May 2010 (UTC)

http://dvice.com/archives/2008/04/walther-nightha.php

Thank you for finding that, i was positive that was the NightHawk. Spades of Columbia 15 may 2010

Lohans Revolver

From the size and 5 chambered cylinder i'd say lohans revolver is a Smith n Wesson 500 - CaptainSnikt

It is a S&W 500. when they do the freeze frame on her there is a better view of it.humanzie3

Oh yeah, when they freeze oh her licking it? Heh, I'm pretty sure i saw Don Johnson packing a 1911 variant - Captain Snikt

Engraved Series 80

The engraved nickel 1911a1 doesn't need the last line implying a different frame from the stock gun. The Colts with the large roll mark saying MKIV Series 80 had the arched mainspring housing and short trigger exactly as this pistol appears. This is how the full size Colts were made in the 80s.

The CURRENT Colt Series 80s have the flat mainspring housing and the long trigger, I think that is where the confusion is coming from.

The pistol in the picture does not appear to be modified in any way (except for the engraving of course.) The last line in the description that says "Though the slide is marked "MK IV Series 80", it appears to have been a standard M1911A1 frame" should be deleted. This is a standard Colt Government Model made in the 1980s. -User:Zenner22

Cool! Thanks Zenner22. Though I photographed the actual gun used by Robert DeNiro, I did NOT write that section. I don't know who did, but I didn't contest it because I always defer to people who know MORE about M1911s than I do. If this is indeed the case, you have the right to edit that information to correct it and provide an explanation here.  :) MoviePropMaster2008 00:26, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
I could have swore that same engraved Series 80 was used on an episode of the TV series The Good Guys.--Predator20 00:32, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

New Images

Guys, can someone put some new screencaps from the redband trailer, and upload the new images that have been appearing in the las few months,i can't upload the my screencaps of the trailers because they are awful. --Dillinger 23:32, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

I just watched the red band trailer and it looked like Danny Trejo was using either a Smith & Wesson model 66 or 686 but their are too many quick cut scenes to tell for sure. -Anonymous 05:48, 25 August 2010 (UTC)

anyone else see the awesome promo still of Tom Savini with a USAS 12? http://www.shockya.com/news/2009/10/25/tom-savini-photo-from-machete/

One trailer I saw showed Jessica Alba's character using a Glock Pistol, most likely a Glock 17.

Machete

Just got home from seeing it. Theres quite a bit of gun porn in it. I believe I saw a USAS 12 a lot of different 1911s, a spas 12, an mp5k, and maybe a couple more

Yeah, I noticed several of those too, one guy had an MP5K-PDW, and I think I saw a Mk. 23 as well. Oh, also, in the first scene of the movie, some of Seagal's henchmen are carrying some sort of AKs or AK knockoffs.

Just saw it myself. It seems everyone in the film uses a stainless 1911 at some point. Also, I noticed during the credits that this film (unlike many) actually gave its armourer a credit. I think his name was something like Steve Gilbert but don't quote me on that.-Anonymous

Okay, two things

First of all, the double barreled sawn-off doesn't look like a twelve gauge to me. The barrels look much too large for a twelve, though it might just be perspective. Also, why would anyone need a compensator for a .22? 67.191.192.233 00:19, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

Bump-firing with a extended magazine? BeardedHoplite 00:21, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

.22's may be small but in a pistol they still have some muzzle flip, so a compensator can be used to make the pistol pretty much completely recoiless, which is very useful when target shooting when you have to drill the same target multiple times quickly.
Are you talking about the P22? Because all the compensator really does is lengthen the barrel, enabling you to actually shoot it with some amount of accuracy-S&Wshooter 15:29, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

Mossberg thinks that a .22 semi auto kicks alot apparently.http://www.mossberg.com/products/default.asp?ID=30&section=products--FIVETWOSEVEN 17:49, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

Sartana's Glock

I saw the movie today and when Sartana ejects the magazine from her Glock you get a clear shot of the bullets in it and they looked alot like .357 sig rounds. So i was thinking that her Glock may be a Glock 32. Anyone else see it yet? humanzie3

Even if it were a .357 (a fact of which I am unconvinced) her pistol looked full-sized to me which would make it a Glock 31 not a 32. -Anonymous

Maybe Danny Trejo's hands made it look smaller to me, because I thought it looked sub-compact. humanzie3

Were you looking at the frame or the barrel, because from the length of the barrel it is definately not a sub-compact. -Anonymous

She has small hands so it still looks subcompact to me. It probably is a 9mm though considering it's a movie. I think she should have been carrying a SIG-Sauer P229R. That's what ICE officers carry. --humanzie3

As you cant read 19 on the pic below (all i can read is just a '2') I want to say its a 32. Im sure i remember it saying 32 or 357 on a close up when the pistol is lying out of reach afters she spends the night with machete--Captain Snikt 17:17, 7 February 2011 (UTC)

Promo pics don't always use the same guns, but Jess has a Glock 19 in this pic. Compare from there. --Crazycrankle 19:46, 6 September 2010 (UTC)

USAS-12

Do you think it should be mentioned that although it's a shotgun, it sounds like an assault rifle (error in sound editing, I'm guessing) when Osiris is firing it in the church? May help to clear any misunderstandings.. --Sentient6 23:22, 30 January 2011 (UTC)

another S&W 500

Error creating thumbnail: File missing

the porting makes me think of a S&W 500. --Schwert 14:46, 7 February 2011 (UTC)

It is a S&W 500. - Mr. Wolf 00:11, 24 October 2011 (CDT)
I think this could actually be a Smith & Wesson Model 460V as it has what looks like a 5" barrel which isn't available on the Model 500.

Unknown shotgun

Did you noticed there is a armsel shotgun on the table

The Padre's Shotguns

Do both of these shotguns match? The shotgun in his right hand appears to be a different model in these two shots - the second looks like a S&W 3000 to me. There appears to be a 3rd shotgun we see the Padre use in the 'behind-the-back' shot.

Padre del Toro's Mossberg 500 is in the right hand of the Padre.

The ejection port and trigger guard of the shotgun in the Padre's left hand looks like that of a Mossberg 500.

The Padre shoots two assailants 'behind-the-back' style around a church pillar.

Machete's "M16A2"

I don't think this can be an M16A2 as it lacks a bayonet lug.

Chris Werb 3 April 2012

I think that would make it the Sporter Match HBAR (Model R6601). --commando552 11:23, 3 April 2012 (CDT)

Springfield Armory M1911-A1

I was just curious why this gun is mentioned as a Springfield Armory M1911-A1. In the two images I see vertical slide serrations which would probably make it a Colt M1911A1, right? Thanks for letting me know, PeeWee055 (talk) 10:23, 25 November 2013 (EST)
