Quickie trivia bit.

Clarence Williams III would go on to play Bumpy Johnson himself - although in a smaller role - 10 years later in Ridley Scott's American Gangster. --Clutch 03:07, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

Suppressed revolver

To be clear, there are models of supressed revolvers that exist however they must be built from the ground up to be supressed, simply putting a suppressor on normal revolver does not work due to gas escaping from the gap between the cylinder and the barrel. Therefore, calling suppressed revolvers a myth is only partially correct.

Wrong, there is a russian revolver, a nagant something or other that was often silenced during WW2 because the way the gun worked the cartrage was longer than the chamber so it would be part way in the barrel when fired, eliminating escaping gas and noise. No custom built suppressed revolver exists.
