Images

Just a heads-up, before anyone adds any more images, be sure to check User:DraconicSalad's contribution page. DS was working on a page for this game for a while, and uploaded a bunch of weapon images, but we haven't seen hide nor hair of him since May. Pyr0m4n14c (talk) 15:19, 19 July 2018 (EDT) P.S.: The Pump Shotgun looks more like a Mossberg 500 Field Gun, considering the receiver-mounted safety switch.

FN Pistols ?

Is Dual Pistols and Suppressed Pistol really FNX ? I think that it is SIG-Sauer P320.-- KINKI'boy (talk) 1:22, 21 July 2018 (JST)

Oh hey I'm back

I was pretty much solo making this page, lol. At least now I'll have some help, college got in the way. I'll add some information and some other bits from the TXT I was using as base to make this. DraconicSalad (talk) 20:16, 4 August 2018 (EDT)

O/U Shotguns

Althrough they seem generic, both models for the O/U shotguns are based on the Baikal MP-27 and Blaser F3 respectively, just addin' that out there DraconicSalad (talk) 20:16, 4 August 2018 (EDT)

Oh, and if anyone else's going to edit this, please take a look here: https://www.stormshield.one/pve/schematics

That site has pretty much every weapon mined from the game, and you can simply swap PVE for PVP if you want to look at the Battle Royale guns, but pretty much every gun avaliable in the game is on that list. Every image I uploaded was extracted from there! DraconicSalad (talk) 20:31, 4 August 2018 (EDT)

Fixing the Templar

AFAIK the Templar/Crusader shotguns look more like the Benelli M3 Super 90 cause of the rear sight being the fixed M3 Benelli sight (and it does not feature the classic Mossberg safety button) but I'll leave it there until someone can take a better look at it. DraconicSalad (talk) 16:24, 27 November 2018 (EST)

I was going to edit that, but never got around to it; based on certain details (e.g. the simpler forend design, the connection between the barrel and magazine tube, the lack of action bars, the logo on the side of the receiver, and perhaps most tellingly, the angular back of the receiver), I'm tempted to say that it actually looks more like an SAI-modified M4 Super 90 (a configuration known as the "18.5" Performance Package"), seen here: [1]. Also, on a couple of sidenotes, are the Pump-Action/Tactical Shotguns really based on the Mossberg 500 Homeland Defender? Sure, they're marked "Bossmerg", but other than that, there's nothing really 500-ish about them; I think that they look a fair bit more like a SPAS-12/Benelli M3 hybrid, but maybe that's just me. There's also apparently a semi-automatic shotgun in STW that looks like a UTAS UTS-15, with variants called "Charger", "Stallion", and "Stampede". Pyr0m4n14c (talk) 17:14, 27 November 2018 (EST) P.S.: One final note, I'm not really sure that we can ID the O/U shotguns as a Baikal and a Blaser so confidently; there's not all that much resemblance, and I think it'd be better to just list them as generics, like the sawn-off SBS.

Honestly to me the Tacs looked a LOT more like the Mossberg Maverick 88 in pump-action version, as it lacks the safety button entirely, which would fit with the whole Bossmerg thing. As for the over-and-unders, upon better analysis, the Maverick/Bandit seems to be based on the Beretta Model 682 instead, as it DOES feature a selection of ribs (or whatever those square things are) along the barrels that happens to be a defining feature of the 682 - I've never seen one without those, while the Blaser has both barrels directly connecting to each other. As for the normal one, it seems mostly loosely based in the Baikal along the handguard and break-action, but with gigantic cartoonish barrels. DraconicSalad (talk) 21:58, 30 November 2018 (EST)

Yeah, I can see the 682, and the Tactical Shotguns do have Mossberg-style receivers and pins (though I would still mention that the pistol grip is SPAS-based). I'm not really on board with the Baikal ID, since the main distinctive features of the MP-27 (double triggers, rifle sights, and barrels you could park a small car between) are all missing from the in-game version, and most of the profile of certain key points (e.g. the handguard, the stock, the hinge, etc.) seems differently-shaped, though this could just be chalked up to the cartoonish art style. Now, if you'd excuse me, I've got to go fix a redlink that's existed for far longer than it had any right to. Later, Pyr0m4n14c (talk) 00:32, 1 December 2018 (EST)

To do list

Just putting some stuff here so I don't get lost. Gotta add the other 4 double barreled shotguns that appear in STW, find out what guns are used in the Mounted Turret and the new plane, put some extra info about vaulted and currently working weapons, add the Husk Buster... This page ain't gonna be finished any time soon lol DraconicSalad (talk) 19:19, 6 December 2018 (EST)

Well, the guns on the plane look like stylized versions of the twin Vickers setup on a Sopwith Camel, and the turret seems to be a pair of Browning M2HBs in a naval-style dual mount. And yeah, this definitely seems like a "long-term project" sort of page. Keep up the good work! Best wishes, Pyr0m4n14c (talk) 21:53, 6 December 2018 (EST)

Heavy Assault Rifle

I think the handguard was based on the AK46, consider it has three holes, and it's the only AK that has it.--Treliazz (talk) 10:19, 2 April 2019 (EDT)

Not really; the AK-46's handguard is shaped differently than the in-game one (which looks more like a regular AK forend). If anything, it looks like one of the Zastava M70-type handguards. Pyr0m4n14c (talk) 18:17, 2 April 2019 (EDT)

Chapter 3 New Weapons

I see an AK-12, a B&T APC9 or a derivative, a Beretta 92, a UTS-15, some sort of AR-15 based scoped rifle, an R700/M24 and some sort of pump-action shotgun. --JackalUnderscore (talk) 04:08, 7 December 2021 (EST)
