How can you tell it's a .38 Special? --Funkychinaman (talk) 12:38, 23 May 2014 (EDT)

I tried to add this link earlier. It looks like I blew it away by mistake ... http://classiccinemaimages.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/Barbara-Stanwyck-and-Fred-MacMurray-in-Double-Indemnity-1944-Paramount..jpg --686P (talk) 14:53, 23 May 2014 (EDT)

It seems to me that the revolver on the promo image looks more like a Smith & Wesson Military & Police, like this one:

Agree. The gun in the movie frames appears to be ivory handled ... http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Ti8FR29Ecxs/T2o96RnGgPI/AAAAAAAADJ8/FIc9VIAYdJA/s400/double+indemnity+gun.jpg --686P (talk) 23:52, 25 May 2014 (EDT)

Looks too small for a .38 M&P. Barrel is also not 4, closer to 3. I think it is a Smith & Wesson .32 Hand Ejector Third Model. What do you'll think?
