Smith & Wesson Model 629

Inspector Sledge Hammer (David Rasche) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 629 as his sidearm. He talks to it sometimes, but when people catch him doing it, he always denies it.

Browning Hi-Power

A thief (Robert Hallak) uses a Browning Hi-Power during a convenience store robbery in "Hammer Gets Nailed" (S01E02), but Hammer takes it away and hands it to his partner, Detective Dori Doreau (Anne-Marie Martin).

Heckler & Koch P7

Francine Flambo (Judie Aronson), the mayor's daughter, uses a Heckler & Koch P7M8 on Hammer and Doreau in the first episode "Under the Gun." (John Vernon reprises his role from Dirty Harry as the mayor of San Francisco in this episode.)

M72 LAW

Hammer uses a M72 LAW rocket launcher to take down a sniper. (Or more specifically, to take down the building that the sniper is on top of.)
