Sirius The Jaeger (天狼シリウス Sirius the Jaeger; Shiriusu Shiriusu za Yēgā) is a 2018 Japanese anime television series directed by Masahiro Andō. Japan in 1930. A strange group of people, also called "Jaegers", came to Tokyo with their instrument cases to hunt vampires. Among them is a young man with striking serenity and unusual aura. His name is Yuriychka "Yuriy" Jirov, a werewolf whose hometown was devastated by vampires. Yuliy and the other Jaegers are in search of a mysterious sacred bow, the "bow of Sirius". In their search, they are involved in deadly clashes.

Arisaka Type 38

Imperial Japanese Army soldiers carry Arisaka Type 38s. First seen in Ep. 04 "Beginning of Trickery" during the maneuver of Major General Kakizak. In Ep. 05 "The Frankenstein" Hyakko Party members use captured Arisakas against the soldiers. During the opening of Ep. 07 "True Confession" Japanese soldiers fire their Arisakas at Vampires with "special ammunition" (probably silver bullets) equipped by V Shipping Company. The former Captain Akasaka Mamoru use one of it in Ep. 07, Ep. 08 "The Sanctuary of Sirius" and in a flashback in Ep. 09 "Father's Shadow".
