Sindiket or Syndicates is 2017 Malaysian action film, starring Sharnaaz Ahmad as Detective Inspector Rudy, an investigation officer from Bukit Aman C.I.D D7 were assigned to Sabah state for investigate and cripple the operational of human trafficking near the East Malaysia-Kalimantan border and he was assisted by Detective Inspector Sabrina from Sabah State Police Headquarters. Inspired by a true story, the movie focuses on the issue of human trafficking following a local woman who is tricked by her boyfriend and sold to a brothel. There she is given drugs and forced to sell herself.

An Indonesian human trafficking syndicate uses a Beretta 92FS Centurion Inox to gunfight against marine police.
Beretta 8000 Cougar
The Beretta 8000 Cougar with golden plate is used by Galang (Rashidi Ishak), the leader of a brothel. The same weapon with nickel versions is also used by a group of Southern Filipino militias and one of Galang's men who believed is police informer during the final shootout.

An M16A1 Rifle is the standard issue rifles for Malaysian police since 1978 after replacing the Heckler & Koch HK33 due the stoppages during an operations. Several marine police officers are seen with it during intercepted the syndicate's boat and battle against them.
