Sheriff's Star (Zvezda sherifa; Russian: Звезда шерифа) is a 1992 Ukrainian detective (at Unkrainian language it also known as Зiрка шерифа; Zirka Sheryfa). Based on the novel "The Naked Face" by Sidney Sheldon. Random collision doctor-psychoanalyst Judd Stevens with mafiosi Anthony DeMarco - the core of the plot of the film. DeMarco's wife, Anne Blake, goes to the clinic Stevens, but he can not understand the vague hints of what her problem. A four murders terrified the city for their brutality and lack of obvious motive, can be associated with anything...

Anthony DeMarco (Aleksandr Martynov) uses at the end of the movie a revolver (previously, he took it from Frank Angeli, before killing him), which is heavily visually modified Nagant M1895.
