Poppies Are Also Flowers (also known as The Poppy Is Also a Flower, Danger Grows Wild and The Opium Connection) is a 1966 made for TV adventure movie directed by Terence Young and based on an idea by Ian Fleming. An international group of anti-narcotics agents struggles against drug traffic in the Middle East and Europe.

A Colt Model 1903 is Coley Jones' (E.G. Marshall) personal weapon. In the scene in the Tehran hotel the pistol is taken from Jones by Linda Benson (Angie Dickinson). In the final scene Linda Benson holds the pistol herself and then returns it to Jones. Martin (Harold Sakata) also is armed with a Colt 1903.
