Pitfall (1948)

Pitfall is a 1948 noir film directed by André De Toth on based novel of Jay Dratler about middle-class husband and father who is bored with his humdrum life. He looks for excitement and becomes involved in stolen goods, adultery, and murder, thus risking his job and marriage. Starring Dick Powell, Lizabeth Scott and Raymond Burr.
