After losing his [[Smith & Wesson Model 36]] .38 Special, Detective Sha goes to an airsoft shop to buy an airsoft Smith & Wesson Model 36. He holsters the airsoft pistol throughout the movie to hide the fact that he has lost his live-firing standard issue Model 36.

Pistols

Norinco Type 54

Two Norinco Type 54 pistols (Chinese-made versions of the Tokarev TT-33) are used by robbers during the final shootout on Canton Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong. However, during the finale, a continuity error occurs as the Type 54 changes into a Browning Hi-Power.

The Smith & Wesson Model 36 .38 Special is the standard sidearm of the Hong Kong police plaincloth detectives in the movie (standing in for the Colt Detective Special).
