Outpost in the Mountains Zastava v gorakh ) is a Soviet 1953 adventure movie directed by Konstantin Yudin and Vladimir Gerasimov. The story takes place on Soviet-Iranian border in mountain region. The Soviet border guard outpost under command of Sr. Lt. Lunin controls an anxious sector of the border. On the Iranian territory US intelligence agents, lead by Col. Bridger and Maj. Morrow, plan to infiltrate a spy across the border. In order to draw off the border guards and weaken the security Morrow hires local brigands to make a raid on Soviet territory.
