National Lampoon's Vacation (1983)

National Lampoon's Vacation is a 1983 comedy starring Chevy Chase as Clark Griswold, a ordinary family man who is determined to take his family cross country to California to visit a world famous amusement park. During their journey, the family endures all sorts of trouble during their numerous stops along the way. The film would spawn a film franchise, spanning four sequels as well as a spinoff television film and a soft "reboot" in 2015.

At Wally World, Clark threatens Lasky (John Candy) with a Marksman 1010 BB pistol that resembles an M1911A1. Clark refers to it as a "Magnum P.I.".
