The following weapons were used in the anime Library War:
Library Defense Forces
All weapons used by the LDF are known to be used/taken from JSDF stockpiles as "donated" by local governments to defend libraries against the Media Betterment Act (MBA).
Sig Sauer P220
Main sidearm of the LDF. Since most of the LDF's firearms are taken from JSDF stockpiles, the P220 is known as the 9mm Pistol or 9 Millimeter Kenjū license made by Minebea and Shin Chuo Kogo KK.
Minebea M9 Submachine Gun
Main submachine gun of the LDF. Licensed made by Minebea from Japan and based on the Mini-Uzi submachine gun. Known as the PM-9 or officially in JSDF service as the 9mm Machine Pistol.
Howa Type 64
The Howa Type 64 is used as a training rifle for all recruits prior to indoctrination into the LDF.
Howa Type 89
The Howa Type 89 is the main assault rifle of the LDF.
M24
The M24 is the LDF's standard sniper rifle.
Media Betterment Committee
MP5
The standard submachine gun of the MBC, they use several variants.
L96A1
The L96A1 is the MBC's standard sniper rifle.
Bakushukai
Glock 17
Bakushukai militants use the Glock 17 as their main sidearm. LDF SP officers were also seen using the Glock 17.
