Kill Rommel! (1969) under its Italian title, Uccidete Rommel.

During World War II in Africa, US lieutenant George Morris (Carl Parker) is assigned to help British captain Richard Howell (a dubbed Anton Diffring) assassinate Field Marshal Erwin Rommel.

Bren Gun

The Bren Gun is used by British troops. Howell (Anton Diffring) uses one in a failed attempt to shoot down an attacking German fighter plane at one point.
