In the Port of Cape Town (V Keyptaunskom portu...; after the title of a popular Soviet song) is a 2019 (filmed 2018) Russian drama film directed by Aleksandr Veledinskiy. Three men meet in Summer 1945 on the island of Sakhalin on the Far East. A shootout happens, and each of the trio mistakenly believes that he killed the other two. Fifty years later, events related to that fateful meeting that changed the lives of all three happen in different parts of the world.
Note: there is no ellipsis in the title on the poster, but it is present in the opening credits of the film.
The following weapons were used in the film In the Port of Cape Town (V Keyptaunskom portu...):
Revolvers
Nagant M1895
In the scene, set in Leningrad in 1926, a Senior Militsioner (the second role of Evgeniy Tkachuk) carries a Nagant M1895 revolver in holster.
Pistols
TT-33
Gena (Evgeniy Tkachuk) holds a TT-33 in several scenes, set in 1996. Then he is disarmed by the Vilen Alekseevich Vereshchagin (Vladimir Steklov) who was one of the three participants of the events on Sakhalin in 1945.
Erma EP 652
In the flashback scene that depicts the scene in 1945 from Sailor's point of view, the young Sailor (Filipp Ershov) is armed with an anachronistic Erma EP 652 .22 caliber pistol.
SIG-Sauer P220 Series Pistol
In a scene, set in 1996 in Cape Town, Michel (Francis Chouler) carries a pistol of SIG-Sauer P220 family in shoulder holster. The pistol is seen only partially, and the exact model cannot be identified.
Vektor SP1
In a scene in Cape Town, one of Pakhan's scions (Keenan Arrison) is armed with a Vektor SP1 pistol.
Submachine Guns
PPSh-41
In the scene in 1945, young Vilen Vereshchagin alias Salazhonok ("Rookie") (Danil Steklov, grandson of Vladimir Steklov who plays aged Vereshchagin) is armed with a PPSh-41 submachine gun.
MP38
In the scene in 1945, Sergeant of penal battalion Toporkov alias Pakhan ("Crime Boss") (Aleksandr Robak) is armed with an MP38.
Uzi
In the scene in Cape Town, Pakhan's scion Alex (Ryan Kruger) hides an Uzi in a saxophone case.
Assault Rifles
Norinco Type 56-1
Several AK-47s are seen in the scene in Cape Town. They are seen only partially but what is seen allows to identify them as Norinco Type 56-1.
Unidentified AK
One of the AKs seen in the scene in Cape Town has a kind of muzzle brake that bears resemblance with the ones used on Bulgarian Arsenal AR-M1/M1F. But it is seen very blurry and the proper identification is humpered.
AKS-74
Three Russian OMON (SWAT) officers are armed with AKS-74s.
Saiga MK-03
Two more OMON officers are armed with compact AKs that look most like semi-auto Saiga MK-03 (but also may be airsoft guns that are common in modern Russian films).
Vektor R5
In the scene in Cape Town, Alex (Ryan Kruger) checks a Vektor R5 hidden in a guitar case.
Machine Guns
Degtyaryov DP-27
A DP-27 machine gun is seen in Pakhan's flashback scene, set during the WWII.
Trivia
Glock
The film poster shows Gena (Evgeniy Tkachuk) holding a Glock style pistol. Such gun isn't used in the film.
Mockup Guns
Stage actors at the rehearsal of Vereshchagin's play hold mockups of PPSh-41, MP40 and a rough generalized pistol.
