The following firearms are featured in the 1993 television movie, In the Line of Duty: Ambush at Waco:
Handguns
SIG-Sauer P228
The SIG-Sauer P228 pistol is used by most Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (BATF) agents in the film, notably by Special Agent Bob Blanchard (Dan Lauria). A Branch Davidian also is seen firing a P228 at BATF agents as they break into the weapons arsenal in the Mount Carmel compound.
SIG-Sauer P226
Full-size SIG-Sauer P226 pistols are also used some BATF agents, likely as substitutes for the BATF standard issue P226.
Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS is seen in the hands of one BATF agent during the raid on the Branch Davidians.
Glock 17
Vernon Howell/David Koresh (Tim Daly) uses a first or second generation Glock 17 pistol as his personal sidearm.
Unknown revolver
Koresh is also shown inspecting a revolver when purchasing weapons at a gun shop.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch HK94A2 (Chopped and Converted)
BATF agents are largely armed with Heckler & Koch HK94A2 submachine guns during the raid on the Branch Davidian compound. The weapons have had their 16-inch barrels chopped and are equipped with Surefire forends and magazine clamps.
Rifles
M16 (SP1)
M16 (SP1) rifles with M16A1 birdcage flash hiders are seized by BATF agents after they arrest a New Orleans weapons dealer. Branch Davidian Jason (Neal McDonough) is also armed with a M16 (SP1) with a 30 round magazine during the BATF raid on Mount Carmel.
M16A1 (with M16A2 handguards)
Jason is shown firing a M16A1 with M16A2 handguards while at shooting practice. Other Branch Davidians also are shown with M16A1s during the gunfight with the BATF agents.
M16A2
A M16A2 rifle is loaded by Koresh while he talks to Jason during one scene. Later, Jason is seen patrolling Mount Carmel's perimeter with a Starlight scope-equipped M16A2. Koresh also has a M16A2 slung over his shoulder when he watches the BATF approach the compound.
Colt CAR-15
CAR-15 carbines are seen on gun racks throughout the film, although they are not used by any characters.
Norinco Type 56
A number of Branch Davidians use Norinco Type 56 rifles, both during shooting practice and during the raid.
AKMS
AKMS rifles are shown lying on a table inside the Branch Davidian's tool shop as weapons are being prepared for shooting practice.
Ruger Mini-14
Ruger Mini-14 rifles are used by many Branch Davidians during the ATF raid, and a gunman uses a Mini-14 to fatally wound Special Agents Conway LeBleu (Glenn Morshower) and Robert Williams (Lewis Smith).
Unknown sniper rifle
An ATF sniper team operating from a house near the Branch Davidian compound use sniper rifles of unknown make to provide covering fire during the shootout between the agents and the Davidians.
Barrett M82A1
A Barrett M82A1 sniper rifle is shown among the weapons in the Branch Davidian arsenal. Unlike the real incident where it is alleged that the M82 was used against federal agents, it is not fired in the movie.
Others
Mk.2 Grenade
A box of Mk 2 hand grenade hulls is accidentally dropped by a Branch Davidian during a routine delivery, rousing the suspicion of local authorities and eventually the ATF.
Stun Grenade
ATF agents toss a stun grenade into the Branch Davidian weapons arsenal when they attempt to breach the compound.
M72 LAW
A M72 LAW launcher is briefly seen in the weapons arsenal.
