Hot Shots! (1991)

Hot Shots! is a 1991 comedy in the style of Airplane! Charlie Sheen stars as Topper Harley, a US Navy pilot who is brought back into the military for a top secret mission. Hot Shots! mainly satirizes the film Top Gun and would spawn the 1993 sequel Hot Shots! Part Deux, which would satirize the Rambo films. The cast includes Valeria Golino, Cary Elwes, and Lloyd Bridges.
