High Road To China (1983)

The following weapons were used in the film High Road To China:

Handguns

Luger 1908 Parabellum

At the beginning of the movie a Luger is used by one of the thugs trying to stop Eve Tozer (Bess Armstrong).

Pre-War dated Mauser C96 "Broomhandle" Commercial Version - 7.63x25mm Mauser. Note the rear tangent sight; in something of a display of wishful thinking, the C96's sight is adjustable for ranges up to 1000 meters. Later examples had a sight adjustable to a still unrealistic 500 meters. C96 pistols with fixed rear sights are very rare.

Smith & Wesson M&P Revolver

Eve Tozer (Bess Armstrong) uses a Smith & Wesson M&P when escaping from an Afghan tribe. Later an M&P is used by Kim Su Lee (Ric Young).

Colt Model 1878 Double Action Revolver

Patrick O'Malley (Tom Selleck) and Eve Tozer (Bess Armstrong) both use the same Colt 1878 Double Action Revolver. It can be identifed as an 1878 by the bird-head grips seen briefly when carried by Bradley Tozer (Wilford Brimley) in a holster before he hands it to O'Malley.

Rifles

M24 Serbian Mauser

During the climactic battle between the warlord's troops and the villagers Mauser rifles are seen being used by both sides. Since the bulk of the movie was filmed in Yugoslavia I'm assuming that the Mauser Rifles are the M24 Serbian Mauser.

A Lewis Gun is mounted to the top wing of Patrick O'Malley's (Tom Selleck) plane. It is used both in aerial combat and taken off for infantry action.

Maxim Gun

It appears that two Maxim MG08 Machine Guns are mounted onto a plane. Rather than the special aerial models it looks like two infantry models were mounted onto the plane. In addition a Maxim MG08/15 is used in an anti-aircraft role by the Warlord's troops during the climactic battle.
