Fargo (1996).

The following guns were used in the movie Fargo:

SIG-Sauer P220 "Non-Gun"

Gaear Grimsrud (Peter Stormare) and Carl Showalter (Steve Buscemi) use a "Non-Gun" resembling a stainless SIG-Sauer P220 throughout the movie. Gaear uses it to kill the state trooper and the two teens outside of Brainerd. Carl later uses it to kill Wade Gustafson in Minneapolis.

Smith & Wesson Model 36

Brainerd Chief of Police Marge Gunderson (Frances McDormand) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 36 in a shoulder holster modified to accomodate her pregnancy. She uses it to shoot a fleeing Gaear in the leg after she catches him shoving the remains of Carl into a woodchipper at the lake.

Unknown Revolver

I just watched this movie again today, I noticed what appears to be a continuity error in the scene where she shoots Gaear. After she shoots him and lowers her gun it appears to be a medium frame revolver of some sort instead of her Model 36. Can anyone identify it? - Diego Wolfwood

It's either a Smith and Wesson Model 27 or 28. - SmithandWesson36
