Dick Francis: Twice Shy (1989)

Dick Francis: Twice Shy is a 1989 adaptation of Dick Francis' 1981 novel Twice Shy. It was one of the three Dick Francis adaptations released as TV movies in 1989 starring Ian McShane as jockey club investigator David Cleveland, along with Blood Sport‎ and In the Frame. Oddly enough, the character of David Cleveland was only the protagonist in one Dick Francis novel, Slay Ride, but is the protagonist in all three films.

The following weapons were used in the film Dick Francis: Twice Shy:

Colt Government Model

Liam Fitzgerald (Conor Mullen) is armed with a Colt Government Model at the end of the film. He briefly hands it to Eddy McGuire (David Herlihy).
