The following weapons appear in the TV series Dexter:
Dexter is an American crime drama mystery television series that aired on Showtime from October 1, 2006, to September 22, 2013. Set in Miami, the series centers on Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall), a forensic technician specializing in bloodstain pattern analysis for the fictional Miami Metro Police Department, who leads a secret parallel life as a vigilante serial killer, hunting down murderers who have slipped through the cracks of the justice system. The show's first season was derived from the novel Darkly Dreaming Dexter (2004), the first in a series of novels by Jeff Lindsay. It was adapted for television by James Manos Jr., who wrote the first episode. Dexter himself rarely uses a firearm, preferring knives and saws in addition to his own formulated knockout injection.

Sgt. James Doakes (Erik King) carries a Glock 17 throughout the entire first season. He notably uses it to kill a Haitian war criminal, where it is subsequently referred to as a 9mm. Lt. Maria LaGuerta (Lauren Velez) is also seen carrying a Glock 17, most notably in "Crocodile". In Season 2, FBI agents, including Special Agent Frank Lundy (Keith Carradine) carry Glock 17s when searching the railroad tracks in "Dex, Lies, and Videotape". Detective Joey Quinn (Desmond Harrington) carries a Glock 17 as his sidearm.
