Cover Up (original title La crime) is a 1983 French detective movie directed by Philippe Labro. Police commissioner Martin Griffon (Claude Brasseur) invenstigates the assassination of attorney d'Alins. Griffon soon finds out that the murder is connected to the corruption in high spheres.

Revolvers
Colt Python
A Colt Python with 4" barrel is Martin Griffon's (Claude Brasseur) personal sidearm. In one scene Griffon's Python is briefly seen in hands of one of Rambert's henchmen (Jacques Bondoux).
Smith & Wesson Model 19
During the climactical shootout the elder hitman (Bernard Tixier) is armed with a revolver that appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 19 with 4" barrel.
Manurhin MR-73
In one scene Rambert's henchman (Jacques Bondoux) fires a revolver that appears to be a Manurhin MR-73 with 4" barrel and fixed sights.
Various revolvers
Griffon's assistant Antoine Gomez (Luc-Antoine Diquéro) carries some revolver.
In the final scene Jean-François Rambert (Jean-Claude Brialy) draws a snub nose revolver.
Pistols
M1911A1
In the opening scene the young hitman (Charlie Nelson) uses an M1911A1 fitted with a very long (and very fake) sound suppressor. During the climactical shootout he uses the same pistol without suppressor.
Unidentified pocket pisol
Avram Kazavian (Robert Hirsch) loads a pocket pistol in the final scene. It isn't used in action.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500
During the climactical shootout both Rambert's henchmen are armed with Mossberg 500 shotguns with wooden furniture and unusually colored pumps.
Trivia
Fake F1 Grenade
An F1 hand grenade is seen in Rambert's car. Rambert claims that the grenade is real and calls it "a memory about Algerian war" but Griffon takes it and crashes in hand, showing that it's a fragile plastic mockup.
