Country Trip of Sergeant Tsybulya (Dachnaya poezdka serzhanta Tsybuli) is a Soviet 1979 war comedy directed by Nikolai Litus and Vitali Shunko. In Summer 1943 Red Army Sergeant Tsybulya (Sergei Ivanov), young but already seasoned scout, is sent behind enemy lines with the mission to deliver anti-transport mines to partisans and help them to destroy the guarded railway bridge. Accidentally Tsybulya lands in wrong place. With the help of local girl Alyonka and old villager Karpo he manages to complete the task of destroying the bridge.

The Walther PPK is the personal handgun of Maj. Schlüge (Mikhail Lvov). Sgt. Tsybulya (Sergei Ivanov) disarms Schlüge and holds his pistol for some time. In the final scene Tsybulya gifts the pistol to Yasha (Vladimir Chubarev).
When Sgt. Tsybulya (Sergei Ivanov) lands behind enemy lines, he is armed with the PPS-43. Later he has to trade it for the MP40 while being disguised as the German soldier.
Some MP38 SMGs are also seen in hands of German soldiers. Grandfather Karpo's (Vladimir Alekseyenko) MP40 briefly switches to MP38 and then back again.
MG34 machine guns are widely used by Wehrmacht troops, mostly mounted on BTR-152 APCs, standing for German APCs, on motorcycles and even on the armoured train. Sgt. Tsybulya (Sergei Ivanov) and Grandfather Karpo (Vladimir Alekseyenko) use MG34 in several scenes, and Aunt Efrosinya (Margarita Krinitsyna) carries one in the final scene.
Model 24 Stielhandgranates are seen in the BTR-152, hijacked by Tsybulya. One of these grenades is used to detonate the explosive charge and destroy the bridge.
Tsybulya's mission is to deliver MZD-4 delayed action anti-transport mines to partisans and teach them to use these weapon. He uses the mines to block the road and stop pursuing German troops, and later to destroy the bridge. The movie props appear to be the emply hulls of genuine mines.
The German armoured train appears in several scenes. It is a full size replica, made for the movie Red Square (Krasnaya ploshchad) (1970) and later appearing in a number of Soviet movies, including Beg (1970), I na Tikhom Okeane... (1974), Fiery Childhood (Ognennoye detstvo) (1976), Dni Turbinykh (1976), Ognennyy most (1976), Poedinok v tayge (1978), Dachnaya poezdka serzhanta Tsybuli (1979), and Lyudmila (1982). It consists of a genuine locomotive and two armoured railcars, one of OB-3 pattern (WW2 era) with a gun turret and another one of "2nd Siberian" pattern (Russian Civil war era) with a gun in an open shield mount. Both main guns are 76.2mm ZiS-3 with removed muzzle brakes (to make them look more like early 20th century models), also the train is armed with several Maxim machine guns.
