Chester Hayes (November 17, 1913 - June 9, 2000) has over 150 credits as an actor and stunt performer in film and television in a career spanning 1948 to 1981. He appeared in more than 60 episodes of the popular Western television show Gunsmoke (1959-1975) and more than 30 episodes of the television comedy F Troop (1965-1967).
