Breakdown (1997)

Breakdown is a 1997 thriller starring Kurt Russell as Jeff, a mild-mannered husband who finds himself in the middle of the Arizona desert in search of his wife, who disappears after accepting a ride from a stranger after their car breaks down. The film was written and directed by Jonathan Mostow, who went on to direct U-571 and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.

At the diner, the manager briefly pulls a nickel-plated Colt Single Action Army revolver on Jeff after he forcibly demands that he be allowed to review customer receipts. While the gun is only ever seen clearly from behind and the barrel length is difficult to gauge, it appears to be the Artillery model of the Single Action Army.
