Boss is an eleven episode Japanese police procedural series that follows the exploits of Osawa Eriko (Yuki Amami), a 40-year-old police officer who returns to Japan after a 5 year hiatus in the U.S. and is appointed to the head of a new task force known as the Special Criminal Countermeasures Unit (SCCU).
NOTE: As this was filmed in Japan, none of the firearms are real and are various replicas standing in for their live-firing counterparts.
MGC M1911A1
Detective Katagiri Takuma (Tetsuji Tamayama) carries a silver MGC M1911A1 pistol (standing in for an M1911A1) as his service weapon.
Colt Model 1903
Osawa Eriko (Yuki Amami) uses a Colt Model 1903 as her primary weapon throughout the series. The prop used is a blank-firing replica of an unknown make.
SIG-Sauer P230
Most of the officers in the SCCU use SIG-Sauer P230 pistols in the field. The props used for these weapons are actually gas-powered airsoft pistols.
Tokarev TT-33
Tokarev TT-33 is the first firearm of Tajima Shingo (Takayuki Yamada). Several terrorists as well as Nodate Shinjiro (Yutaka Takenouchi) and Takakura Ryuhei (Takashi Sorimachi) uses Tokarev TT-33 pistols several times.
Colt Government Model
Tajima Shingo's (Takayuki Yamada) second firearm is the two Colt Government Model pistols (Stainless and Two tone). Nodate Shinjiro (Yutaka Takenouchi) uses blued Colt Government Model.
Kimar Model 92
Nishiyama Nanami (Manami Konishi) uses Kimar Model 92.
Nambu Model 60
Most of the officers in the Metro Police Department use Nambu Model 60 revolvers.
Smith & Wesson Model 10 HB
Tanimoto Takashi (Shunsaku Kudô) fires Smith & Wesson Model 10 HB several times.
Heckler & Koch PSG-1
Heckler & Koch PSG-1 is the Nishiyama Nanami's (Manami Konishi) long range firearm.
AK-47
AK-47 can be seen in the hands of one terrorist.
