Detective Hieronymus "Harry" Bosch (Titus Welliver) continues to carry a Kimber Custom TLE II as his service weapon. The Kimber is the pistol author Michael Connelly specifies as Bosch's LAPD sidearm in his later novels.

Glock 17

Bosch's partner, Detective Jerry "J. Edgar" Edgar (Jamie Hector) carries what appears to be a Glock 17 as his service weapon. Other LAPD officers also armed with the Glock include Deputy Chief Irvin Irving (Lance Reddick) and Eddie Arceneaux (James Ransome). (The Glock 22 is the official department issue of the LAPD).

The SIG-Sauer MPX is first seen in the gun safe owned by Carl Nash (Brent Sexton) in "Exit Time" (S2E07). He later uses the weapon in "Follow the Money" (S2E08). This weapon is later seen in the LAPD crime lab in Season 2's finale "Everybody Counts" (S2E10). This is one of the earliest appearances of the weapon in a film or television series.
