Pistols
Glock 17
The Glock 17 also is the pistol carried by veteran LAPD officers as their sidearm, including Police Officer III Reina Vasquez (Denise G. Sanchez) and Det. Jerry "J. Edgar" Edgar (Jamie Hector).
Smith & Wesson M&P
The Smith & Wesson M&P pistol is seen as the sidearm carried by new LAPD recruits. The M&P was the standard issue pistol of the LAPD of the show's time period.
Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Model 386
As a private detective, Harry uses what appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 386 "Night Guard" revolver as his weapon of choice.

The Remington Model 870 is used by LAPD patrol officers as their primary shotgun.
Less Than Lethal
Taser X26P
A Taser X26P pistol with green furniture is carried by LAPD patrol officers.
Remington 870 "Less Lethal"
A Remington 870 shotgun loaded with "less lethal" beanbag rounds is one of the standard weapons now carried by LAPD patrol officers. The shotgun is fitted with green furniture and has an extended mag tube.
