Boomerang Comme un boomerang ("Like a boomerang"); original Italian title Il figlio del gangster ("Son of a gangster") is a 1976 French-Italian crime drama directed by José Giovanni and starring Alain Delon as Jacques Batkin. When Batkin's teenage son Eddy, being under the influence of drugs, accidentally kills a policeman, Jacques tries to act according to the law. But when the press reveals that Jacques is a former gangster, he has to act in style of his dark past.
