Bandits of Orgosolo (Banditi a Orgosolo) is a 1961 Italian B&W drama movie directed by Vittorio De Seta. The main character of the movie is Michele Iossu, a Sardinian shepherd, who is wrongly accused in complicity with bandits and a murder of a carabinier. Michele has to flee in mountains where he loses all his flock of sheeps and has to become a bandit and rob other shepherds. The cast of the movie was completly formed of non-professional actors, mostly Sardinian shepherds.
