Winchester Model 1873 is the most commonly used firearm. It is used by Peter Burke (Wheeler Oakman), Capt. Rydal (Wellington A. Playter), The Half-Breed (Charles Murphy), Mountie (William Colvin) and Dolores' Father, Baptiste LeBeau (Roy Laidlaw) throughout the movie. Several Winchester Model 1873s can be seen hung on the wall in the bar in the film beginning.
