Det. (later Lt.) Cynthia Ernst's (Annabeth Gish) personal sidearm is a Taurus Model 617 revolver. Due to its shadow grey finish it appears to be a Total Titanium version. In the original novel Cynthia carries a "9mm Glock automatic with a fifteen shot clip and hollow-point bullets" and a "tiny, chrome-plated Smith & Wesson five-shot pistol" as a backup weapon.
