The film was one of nine collaborations between director Thompson and Charles Bronson. 10 to Midnight was the title that the film started out with, but has nothing to do what the actual story that followed.

Smith & Wesson Revolvers

In several scenes police officers carry revolvers in holsters. The grips allow to guess these revolvers to be Smith & Wesson models.

In same scene another guard carries a revolver. The shape of the grip and the size of the holster allow to guess that it's a version of Smith & Wesson Model 10HB, Model 13 or Model 19 with 2.5" or 3" barrel.
